Q1. In care the meeting vessel from right bow, she doesn't take any action at wide sea area,How do you think timing of avoiding that vessel.Please advice how many miles before and how many degree alter course? *

Q2. You confirmed echo like a fishing boat almost right bow on the radar.It didn't sight but almost stopping and CAP 0.2 miles from ARPA. There are some vessel and fishing boats surrounding but there are to you. No influence(CAP over 1 mile). So the almost right bow fishing boat only influence to you. No any other restriction.Please state in turn your possibility action? *

You are navigating separation South bound lane in the Malacca strait at night time.There are two vessels slower than your vessel in front of you.Each vessel are different about distance and speed. However,your vessel has to pass between the both vessel in case maintain course and speed.Each vessels are informed same CPA 0.2 miles and TCPA 15mins by ARPA. In add, other high speed vessel is over taking you from 3miles off on your stab'd quarter.The higher speed vessel is CPA 0.2 mile and TCPA 16mins All vessels draft is about 7～11m　and on shallow area within 10 miles.Finally, how many distance(clearance) keep for overtaking and is overtaken by high speed vessel.?Please state your action and correspond? *

You found the crossing vessel 4 points starboard side 20 miles off by radar during northbound South China Sea.The crossing vessel maybe pass 0.8 miles off in front of your vessel by ARAP under the keep watch her. There are not any other vessels surrounding.So The distance about 15 miles to her now. How do you do from now? *

Q1. The meeting vessel is coming toward you from the front.Your ship's speed is 15 knot. The other's is 18 knot.Radar shows other vessel is in a 15 miles front.At this rate, in how many minutes do you collide with the other vessel ? *

Q3. When you take the rudder 10 degrees to the starboard in order to veering 30 degrees from the current course,the rate of turn goes up to 10 degrees after 30 seconds. If you maintain the rate of turn 10 degrees, in how many minutes can you veering to 30 degrees ? *

Q4. Related to Q3, when your ship's speed is 18 knot, how far do you proceed from start to finish the veering ? *

Q5. A fishing vessel on your bow is drifting and it does not move. If you want to keep 1 mile distance from the fishing vessel, how many degrees do you veer from the current course in order to avoid collision? Please answer considering each following distance between your vessel and the fishing vessel. *
