SB172 Request for Eligibility Check
On October 7, 2015, Governor Brown signed SB172 into law. This law suspends the California High School Exit Exam as a requirement for high school graduation for the next three years, and is to be applied to students from past cohorts as well. As a result of this law, students in the Classes of 2006-2014 who met all other course and credit requirements may be eligible for a high school diploma from the Fremont Union High School District. The Fremont Union High School District will issue diplomas to students who have been verified as eligible after the law takes effect on January 1, 2016.
If you believe you might qualify for a high school diploma as a result of SB172, please complete the form below to initiate the eligibility verification process. A staff member will then be able to contact you about verifying your eligibility and next steps.
