Tell me about a situation where you needed to manage an upset individual at the reception desk. How did you handle it? I listen to the customer and hear them out. I let them know that I care by resolving the issue to the best of my ability. Sometimes people just need someone that will listen to them. I do that. *
A person calls and asks to speak to someone who isn't available to talk. What do you tell them so they will feel you are doing your best job to enable them to connect with the person they want to speak to?I would let the customer know that although the person they are asking for is unavailable, I would take their information and pass it on. They will now hear back from that person, priority! *

I've worked in customer service and retail for years. From being a radiology scheduler to a front end supervisor to working with my husband in his previous business. I take care of the communications. I've always worked with a lot of people. I've always been a multitasker. *
What have you done at your present/last company to increase revenues, reduce costs or save time? Make sure I have everything that I need to perform my best. Time is money and I like to be proficient. *
How did you add value above your responsibilities to your previous employments? By having strong values and morals. *
What do you believe the receptionist brings to the office culture at any company? You are the most important person in the room. The receptionist is the first person the customer see's and the last person they say good-bye to. Being very attentive to the customers needs and practicing complete follow through. First impressions are key. *
How do you manage the office communications in a secure way? I'm very organized and efficient at delivering what's asked of the job. *

Can you tell me about a time you felt overwhelmed at work and how did you handle that? It can be challenging on very busy days because you can't do everything at the same time. It's managing priority and demand at the same time. I love a good challenge so that's how I look at things I do in my life. Most importantly, remember to breath and take a 5-10 second rest when you need to. *

I was getting my nails done by the same wonderful gal for 10 years. I love working with customers and meeting people. *
