Attorney Volunteers - George Floyd Protests
The Chicago National Lawyers Guild (NLG) is coordinating legal representation for people arrested during the protests against the police killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor that began in Chicago May 29, 2020. We are also coordinating on the ground legal support.
If you are a licensed attorney and are potentially interested in volunteering your time, please fill out this form. This form is ONLY for licensed attorneys. There are additional volunteer options for law students, legal workers, and law school graduates. These will be posted on NLG Chicago's website and social media.
This is only a preliminary request; filling out this form does not commit you to the case. NLG will follow up with you shortly.
Immigration attorneys only: You can fill out this form if you are licensed in IL or other jurisdictions and looking to provide consult only to criminal attorneys on immigration issues. There is an option to mark that below.
