Too often, trash that doesn't make it into recycling or landfill bins on campus is washed into sewers, making its way into the Potomac River. To improve GW's impact on the Potomac River, the Office of Sustainability is partnering with GW's Zero Waste Team and the District of Columbia to conduct a litter audit. We'll collect litter on campus and identify what types of materials are most common, then use that information to educate the GW community about proper waste disposal.
