Last Stand for Solar Rally at the State House
Friday, April 29 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Join us for the people's Last Stand for Solar rally at the State House. Governor LePage has said he will veto the solar bill, despite unanimous support in the Senate and overwhelming support in the House. For planning purposes, please RSVP below.
On Friday, April 29, the Legislature will convene to vote whether to override the governor's veto. This is the final vote: Maine's solar future and hundreds of jobs are on the line. Please come to Augusta and show your support.
Meet at 10:30 a.m. at NRCM’s office to pick up a yellow solar t-shirt before the rally. If you already have a solar t-shirt, please wear it! There is a parking garage and lots of parking near NRCM's office, which is across from the State House. Directions to NRCM's office at 3 Wade Street:
