North Atlanta High School PTSA Committee Chairperson Roles (2025-2026)

The North Atlanta High School PTSA connects students, parents, teachers, and the community to enhance our school experience. While the Executive Board provides leadership, our Committee Chairpersons make things happen, driving the planning and execution of events and initiatives throughout the year.

What’s New for 2025-2026?

We’re streamlining our approach to Committee Chairperson roles:

✅ All interested candidates (new or returning) must complete this form for consideration.
✅ Fewer roles (reduced from 45+ to 18-20) to enhance collaboration and improve coordination.
✅ No more than 2-3 chairpersons per Vice President to ensure focused leadership.
✅ Chairpersons will be selected by the incoming Vice President.
✅ No co-chairs – each role will have a single chairperson.
✅ One-year term preferred (renewable for a second year with PTSA board approval).
✅ Chairpersons are encouraged to consider leadership roles, such as Vice President, after serving 1-2 years.

Who Should Apply?

Ideal candidates:
✔ Commit to the full 2025-2026 school year.
✔ Understand and uphold the NAHS PTSA mission and policies.
✔ Have experience in PTA, non-profits, or leadership roles.
✔ Are fair, enthusiastic, and dedicated to supporting NAHS students and families.
✔ Provide monthly updates to the Executive Board and serve as a proxy when needed.
✔ Represent PTSA at key school events (Warrior Welcome, Open House, faculty meetings).
✔ Take full responsibility for their role, prioritize PTSA duties, and delegate when necessary.
