Wednesday April 25 Mapping Our Futures – A Full-Day Popular Education Workshop with Beautiful Solutions-- Registration
Location: Art In (1444 E Washington Ave, Madison WI)
Time: 9am-5pm (lunch provided)

Event description: Popular educators from Beautiful Solutions will offer a participatory day-long workshop using curriculum from the Highlander Research and Education Center’s Mapping Our Futures curriculum. The heart of the curriculum is a community research and mapping process. Other components include exploring capitalism and solidarity economics, examining our histories and our present, and learning together about “Beautiful Solutions”—examples of people around the world building community resistance and economic alternatives for a more just and democratic world. Following the workshop we will share curriculum materials with participants to take back to their groups.
This curriculum is for deepening our understanding of our community while exploring what potential solutions might look like and require of us. We will build on our understanding of the systems of economy and government that got us here, explore alternatives, and grow our relationships.

Please register your group on a single form, and be specific about who will be attending. Because of its participatory nature, we may have to limit the size of the group, but for now, please sign up whoever you would like to bring!

There will also be a 3 hour Mapping Our Futures workshop on Thursday, April 26th. More information and registration is available here:
