ARISE Workshop goals are to: 1. provide pathways for broadening the impacts of NSF-funded Arctic research and assist principal investigators in disseminating the results of their research and 2. increase the informal science education community’s access to and engagement with Arctic scientists. Both of these goals are intended to enhance the public’s learning experiences related to the Arctic environment and NSF-funded research.
Meals during the workshop will be covered by NSF funding for all participants. If you require travel support (to include airfare and lodging; not to include mileage, airport parking, or car rentals), please indicate so on the registration form. Funding for 42 workshop participants is available and requests for support will be accepted in the order in which they are received. Following a request for support, a member of the workshop planning committee will be in contact.
