Are you looking for an opportunity to participate in our local history and community?
Historic Cherry Hill's mission is to invite diverse audiences to explore American history through the unique lens of one Albany household and, through intimate encounter with the past, encourage audiences toward new perspectives on their own stories and place in history.
Our vision for the future? To become a vibrant community anchor, a recognized research center, and a focal point of heritage tourism.
Do these sound like worthy goals? If so, join our team of HCH Volunteers!
Benefits:
All HCH volunteers receive free Individual Member benefits, including discounted rates for special events, free tours for family and friends, exclusive members-only experiences, HCH research library privileges, social and enrichment meetings, free outings to local sites, and 10 % discount in the gift shop.
Student volunteers gain hands-on experience and have the opportunity to make connections to expand their professional network.
Time Commitment & Scheduling:
You decide! Volunteers give as little as 3 hours a year or as much as several hours per week. Volunteer opportunities are flexible based on your availability and the nature of your area(s) of interest. Volunteering can also be a regular or seasonal commitment, or on as needed basis. All contributions are valued and welcome!
Covid-19 protocol:
For the health and safety of all volunteers and staff, protocols will be followed and are subject to change based on current recommendations and guidelines from NYS Dept. of Health and the CDC.
