We hope there'll be lots of fun apple juicing days around Leeds once again this year.
If you fill in this form we can lend you the kit needed to make these lovely days possible.
Please note, you are not covered by Urban Harvest/Leeds Permaculture Network insurance for your activities or for loss of or damage to the equipment. The equipment is your responsibility while in your possession.
We ask that you agree to the following conditions:
1. To return all equipment clean and dry, undamaged and complete. If returned dirty, you will not be allowed to use it next year!
2. To pay for the repair or replacement of any damaged or lost equipment.
3. To return all equipment at the agreed time, so that it can be used by the next group.
4. To use the equipment safely and correctly, following the instructions provided.
5. To consider health and safety and food hygiene so that no-one is injured or made ill by your activities (including carrying out risk assessments and implementing risk controls).
6. To carry out your activities in line with the ethos of Leeds Urban Harvest, focusing on using fruit that would otherwise go to waste; learning and sharing skills; and distributing fruit to people who otherwise wouldn’t eat it.
Please make sure you have knives, chopping boards, cloths, tea towels, towels, sterilising solution (if needed) and any other cleaning products.
Depending on availability we can sell you 750ml glass bottles.
Enjoy your harvesting!
