Call For Testers - Gladstone Hat


• Please note: Test knitters to not get monetary compensation for test knitting.

Please fill out this form if you are interested in testing my upcoming hat pattern called "Gladstone."  Gladstone is a charming town located on Little Bay de Noc in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.  The twisting cables traveling up this hat resemble waves from the beautiful waters on the shores of this quaint town.  Knit in North Bay Fiber's Elemental Worsted, this unisex-style hat offers 3 sizes and has a comfy, relaxed feel.


FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Approx 17.5 (18.5, 20)"/45 (47, 51)cm circumference X 8 (8, 8)"/20.5 (20.5, 20.5)cm tall

GAUGE
24 sts x 30 rnds = 4"/10cm in cable pattern, worked in the round and blocked

NEEDLES
Needles listed are suggested. Always take time to swatch.
• Gauge Needle: Size US 7 (4.5mm) 16"/40cm circular needles and DPNs-or size necessary to obtain gauge
• Smaller Needle: Size US 5 (3.75mm)16"/40cm circular needles —or three size smaller than gauge needle


YARN
RECOMMENDED:
North Bay Fiber, Elemental Worsted
(100% domestic Cormo wool; 205yd/187m per 100 g); 1 (1, 1) skein

Or approx 158 (173, 189)yds /144 (157, 172)m of worsted weight yarn 

All TESTERS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY 11/18/24 OR SOONER IF YOU ARE ACCEPTED INTO THE TESTING POOL.
