Dear Bloke,

Every year after each event, once we have calmed down a bit and thought "phew!" we review the (copious) feedback and try to do some things just that little bit better...

One of the things we'd like to improve is the Cabaret.  Which is not to say we want to significantly change it, because it is a huge part of the daft charm of BlokeFest.

We don't want to take away the awesomeness of the spontaneous inspiration, or those magic moments when blokes keep forgetting the words (!) yet STILL plough on, we just want to make it a little smoother.

To this end, this year we would like to try another experiment and have some pre-registration.  This is mainly to give US (the so-called "organizers") some more info about YOU (the so-called "cabaret artistes") so we can provide a bit more continuity and possible structure the show a little better as well as the Master of Ceremonies having a little bit more interesting to introduce you.

This won't guarantee you make it onto the list of actual performers, but let's face it, if you've gone to all the trouble of reading through this waffle and completing you are pretty determined types and we would be rude not to let you through.

Anyway, in high hopes of how this will work out, here goes...
