2017 Hive NYC Learning Network Membership Application
Thank you for your interest in becoming a new member organization with the Mozilla Hive NYC Learning Network! We’re excited for your organization to join our community of educators, practitioners, youth-serving, civic and cultural organizations that are dedicated to transforming the learning landscape. Hive member organizations create opportunities for young people to explore their power through positive youth development programming and equitable learning experiences.

• Strengthen Hive NYC as a context for learning and innovation;
• Develop conditions for the spread and scale of Hive NYC ideas;
• Illustrate and develop youth trajectories and pathways; and
• Increase equity and access to education opportunities in NYC

As stewards of the network, Hive NYC staff are dedicated to:

• Fostering a safe, innovative, and experimental learning environment for members,
• Support member relationships and connections to strengthen each others work through the sharing of tools, resources, pedagogy, and strategies,
• Be advocates of members’ work, mission, and values across education, governmental and philanthropic sectors,
• Play an active role in supporting member organizations to make connections with prospective funders,
• Facilitating memberwide decision making and avenues for providing feedback.
