2018 First Year Outstanding Student Scholarship Self-Nomination Form

Art and Design First Year Outstanding Student Scholarships are partial tuition scholarships. A limited number of scholarships are awarded each year. Scholarship recipients are announced at the First Year Experience Exhibition Reception at the Union Art Gallery in early April.

In order to qualify for consideration Art and Design Majors need to meet the following criteria:

- Students demonstrate a high level of engagement in their college art and design experience in studio work, co-curricular art and design opportunities, critique and programming.
- Quality studio work and creative growth is not the only consideration but plays a part in the selection process.
- Students are respectful, collegial member of this creative community.
- Students maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA
- Students are declared Art and Design Majors who are currently in at least one First Year Program Art and Design course (ART 101, 108, 109, 118, 106)

The deadline for submission is MARCH 2, 2018

Students must fill out a FAFSA by April 1st to qualify for an Art and Design First Year Outstanding Student Scholarship.
