Police Oversight Commission Application
Thank you for your interest in the Police Oversight Commission.

The Police Oversight Commission will set the standard of what police behavior on campus should be. This will involve exploring the possibility of changing UCPD structure to transform it into a more positive/effective department that is intentionally and primarily focused on public safety, and acknowledges the violent history of police presence for certain campus communities and actively works to ensure that inequities are not perpetuated. (ASUCBL 3310, Section 3.1.2)

Applications are due no later than 11:59 PM on February 8, 2019. If you are selected to advance in the process, you will receive an email inviting you to interview ( can be via Skype, telephone, or in-person).

Once again, thank you for your time and interest.

Best regards,
Maureen Simmons
Internal Chair, Police Oversight Commission
