COMPANION PET: Veteran Companions works with Waco-area trainers to provide at least 1 hour of obedience training for companion pet. The initial animal adoption fee and the obedience training is at no cost to the applicant. The requirements are that the applicant be a veteran (or active duty) and that the applicant have no other pets in the residence. Exceptions can be entertained. Adopted dogs are the responsibility of the applicant but can be returned in the first 30 days.
