B2P Toronto will be travelling to Bolivia from June 7th to August 2nd 2018 (tentative dates), we are looking for approximately 4-6 more members for our travel team. Our bridge site, Gonchu Mayu, will serve approximately 140 pedestrians each day, allowing access to vital economic activity, education, and government services. The travel team will be responsible for constructing the ~60m suspended footbridge and will be living in a rural situation for about 8 weeks, training will take place throughout the Winter 2018 semester and the month of May. The travel team training program will include construction, safety and Spanish training. This process will be intensive so we are looking for very committed members only. We are currently working on fundraising to alleviate any personal costs; travel team members should be prepared to cover part of the cost.
