The role of student speaker for the Fall 2021 Latinx Graduation Ceremony is a very important role that speaks for all of our graduates at the ceremony. The address should be about 5 minutes in English or Spanish, or both. This translates to approximately 400 – 650 words. As a student speaker, you must be prepared to submit your full address if chosen as the speaker. The deadline for this application is November 19th, 2021 at 11:59pm.

When you are finished applying, please send a picture of yourself TamuLatinxGraduation@gmail.com. We will follow up with you to schedule an interview between the dates of November 11th-22nd and discuss the speech. We will be conducting interviews through both in-person and zoom, so please tell us your preference in your email.
