Beers for Good, through the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts, is currently accepting applications for community benefit grants from the proceeds of the 2018 Nashua River Brewers Festival. Please be aware, the Nashua River Brewers Festival and the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts may use the grant beneficiaries' organizational name and charitable purpose when marketing the event and soliciting sponsors. Beneficiaries may be asked for information, representation for media appearances and cooperation in marketing and sponsorship solicitation efforts. Grants are based on the proceeds available after all event expenses are paid. Funds will not be available to be awarded until early Fall 2018.

The Nashua River Brewers Festival relies on volunteers to make the event successful and, because of the scale of the event, requires a large number of volunteers. It is hoped that beneficiaries will provide volunteers to help on the day of the event. The Nashua River Brewers Festival will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 1 PM to 6 PM.

Applications will be reviewed and beneficiaries selected by the Beers for Good Board of Directors. Beneficiaries serving Fitchburg and committing to provide volunteers will be given preference.

Funds raised by Beers for Good are held and distributed by the Community Foundation of North Central MA, who have the final authority in all fund distributions.
