Sex, Relationships, and ADHD

This survey is intended to gather information for an upcoming book by Rachael Rose and Dr. Liz Powell. This is not part of any formal research or IRB approved study. We are hoping to explore a variety of ways that neurodiversity can impact sex, love, and relationships. Answers to this form will be used in the book, so completion of the survey indicates a release for use of your responses. We are happy to anonymize any response, so feel free to indicate a pseudonym or other term you want us to use.

There are sections of this survey for folks to have ADHD, folks who do not have ADHD, and folks who have partnered someone with ADHD. There are no right or wrong answers to any of these questions, so please be as honest as possible.

We do not anticipate completion of this survey causing any harm or negative effects, but if you find that you have any questions or need any support after taking the survey you can email adhdloveandsex@gmail.com. If you find that you are having thoughts of hurting yourself or someone else, please call 911 or go to the Emergency Room.

Basically, when you were born, did the doctor say "it's a boy," "it's a girl," or something else. The reason we ask is because those who are socialized as girls are significantly less likely to receive an ADHD diagnosis and there are theories that hormones and socialization can affect how ADHD presents and what coping mechanisms folks develop.
