One of the most significant aspects of the College of Business James Scholar program is the required activity credit, ensuring each student remains active in the community and continues the learning process outside of the classroom. These activity credit opportunities reflect the vision for the James Scholar Program: “to promote professional growth in our students.” Upon receipt of a proposal, the JSEC will discuss with the Honors Dean the validity of the proposal at the next monthly JSEC meeting, making a decision regarding the proposed activity (acceptance, rejection, further investigation, etc.).
Only proposals submitted prior to September 30th of the current academic year will have decisions applicable to the current academic year. All subsequent submissions will apply to the following academic year.
