Driving CPS Skilling Through a Nationwide Network of Labs

IIT Ropar – Technology and Innovation Foundation (iHub-AWaDH) is leading India’s efforts in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) education by building a strong national skilling ecosystem through state-of-the-art CPS Labs.

To date, 26 CPS Labs have been established at top institutions including NIT Delhi, NIT Jalandhar, Thapar Institute (Patiala), Chitkara University (Rajpura), University of Ladakh, IIIT Una, and Khalsa College of Engineering & Technology (Amritsar). We’ve also launched India’s first industry-integrated CPS Lab at the Chamber of Commercial Undertakings, Ludhiana, IILM Greater Noida, HRIT University, Ghaziabad, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, UP, Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research Indore, MIET Jammu, Shoolini University, Chandigarh University among others.

Through these labs, 24+ structured CPS training programs have been conducted, empowering over 600+ faculty and 500+ students with hands-on CPS skills.

With 8 more labs currently in the pipeline, IIT Ropar TIF is steadily building the technical infrastructure needed to scale CPS education and skilling across the country.

CPS Lab Cost & Contribution:
The total cost of establishing one CPS Lab is ₹25 Lakhs, with 100% financial contribution to be borne by the host institute.
