Academy and Pathway Interest Form - Pleasant Grove High School (2026-2027)
All 9th grade students at Pleasant Grove High School have the opportunity to indicate their preferences for course enrollment for 10th through 12th grades. 
  • Share your preference for an academy, pathway, or concentration.
  • When scheduling your classes, your Counselor will do so considering (1)graduation requirements, (2)a-g eligibility requirements, (3)academy, pathway, and/or concentration requirements, and (4)your indicated preferences.
ACADEMY or PATHWAY
  • An academy or pathway has a sequence of three courses all focused in the same area: Introductory (10th), Concentrator (11th), and Capstone (12th). 
  • Students in academies take additional classes together in English, Science, and Social Science.

NOTES: 
  • Students who enroll in an academy or pathway MAY also enroll in AVID, Honors/AP, Leadership, and/or VAPA courses.
  • Students who are NOT enrolled in an academy or pathway, MAY NOT take the academy or pathway courses.
  • Enrolling in a particular academy, pathway, or concentration is about prioritizing how your classes are scheduled.
