The Peer Health Education (PHE) Program teaches student volunteers to educate their peers about important health issues, challenges students to examine their values, and introduces skills with which students can feel more empowered to stay healthy.

Application Process:

1. Complete this application
2. It is important to note that a limited number of applicants will be accepted.
3. Once each section is full, no more applications/interviews will be accepted.
4. Attend a brief interview prior to the beginning of the Fall or Spring semester.

Requirements for Participation in PHE Training:

1. Make a one year commitment to the program. (Fall training semester class is held Friday from 1pm-3:40pm and the Spring active semester class is held Wednesday from 9:30am - 10:30am). You will receive three units of PH 480 credit for the training and one unit of PH 499 each semester thereafter.
2. All majors are encouraged to apply.
3. Must be an upper division SDSU student (working towards at least your 60th unit the semester you enroll).
4. Must be open minded, understanding, and respect others at all times.
