Navigating Difficult Conversations, A Dialogue with Students
This lunch and learn event will be an in-person, informal dialogue with members of the University of Tennessee Speech and Debate Society and Public Administration Student Association. Students will host tabletop discussions on how to engage with opinions you don’t necessarily agree with, how to encourage others to speak up, how to be persuasive, how to discuss controversial topics while remaining inclusive, how to think on your feet, and how to identify misinformation. Lunch will be provided.
