Query Letter and Publishing Journey Questionnaire
Hello! I have been too involved in the "publishing journey gatekeeping" conversation on Threads (iykyk) and I understand writers' desire to see how other people did it so they can try to guess/predict/analyze how their journey will go or went. We all know that everyone's publication journey is different, but there is a benefit in sharing the details of those differences. If you would like to share your query letter, stats, and/or journey, please fill out this form. No names required. You can redact any identifying information you want in your query, or leave it all in--your choice. In the end, depending on how much info we get, I'll summarize/analyze the information and post about it on www.AgentsandBooks.com (and it won't be paywalled). If you have queried multiple books, please answer the following questions about the same book. (You can submit multiple forms if you'd like.) Please note, the only required question is whether you allow me to quote from your answers in my newsletter. If you decline to be quoted, your answers will still be used in the analysis of this information, but I will not share any of your specific information outside of this form.
