The AUSM Mexico program is a 13-week (spring or fall semester) or 4-week (summer semester) interdisciplinary course of study based in Mexico. Depending on the semester, the program may visit all or some of the following: Chiapas, Tlaxcala, and Mexico City. The program is focused on the investigation of popular social movements. Students experience collective living situations, often in conditions to which they may not be accustomed. To succeed, the applicant must be flexible, open to new experiences, and self-motivated. We appreciate your frank and honest appraisal of the applicant. We accept applicants into the program on a first come, first serve basis., so we encourage you to complete this reference as quickly as possible.
