Every biathlon event depends upon it's volunteers in order to hold a safe and fun event.  If you are able to to lend a hand for this race, please complete the registration information below to let us know that you'll be available.  Thank you in advance for your help!!

This event will be held at OSCEOLA SKI & SPORT in OSCEOLA, NY and is open to all levels, ages 13 and over.

This race is a mountain bike modified pursuit format event where competitors will ride the loops rather than running.  Upon entering the range, bikes will be dropped and then picked up again after shooting in order to move on to the next loop.  Expect the loop distance to be in the 1.5-2.0km range (times 5).

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
Due to continuing concerns involving Covid-19, we are taking as many precautions as possible in order to protect everyone involved with this event.  While this may make things more difficult, it allows us to hold our events this year.  We have put together guidelines based on NYSSRA's & NYSDOH policy along with the organizing committees concerns.  We may adapt these depending on the situation as we get closer to race day. Please follow these guidelines as closely as possible.

Please review closely!!
1.  Vaccinated participants may choose to not wear a mask.  Non-vaccinated individuals are asked to wear a mask when not actively racing.
2.  Social distancing (6 feet) is recommended for all participants not from the same household.
3.  Masks are not required during the race while on course or at the range.
 
Additional Precautions
1.  Contact tracing will be maintained using registration information.
2.  Hand sanitizer will be made available.
3.  Shared rifles will be wiped down with disinfectant between each use.
4.  Competitors will be sent out individually at 1 minute intervals to provide spacing.
5.  Spectator area will be separate from the competitors to reduce potential contact.
