Details of the NE Encuentro:

Victory Party on Friday at 8:00pm at the Commons in Brooklyn*

-  Arrive here, where you will get your housing information, info
packets, and will pay your registration ($15-$75, sliding scale) if you have already done so online (an email follow up to this form will explain how to pay online.) Get some homemade tamales and empanadas, buy some drinks, and dance with your friends—all to support the CIW Mobilization upcoming in February!

Workshops on Saturday, 9:00am-6:00pm at El Museo Del Barrio in Manhattan

-   Head to the Rebel Diaz Arts Collective in the Bronx at 7pm for Dinner, presentations by local activists highlighting radical organizing in New York City and art making at 9pm.

Action Preparation on Sunday, February 6th at 9:00am at the Workers United Union Hall, Union Square

-  Arrive here for breakfast, and to make banners, posters, and prepare
chants for the action. Interactive workshop on how to make your actions
fun, memorable, and inspirational.

- 12:00pm-2:00pm: March from Union Square Trader Joe’s to Chelsea Trader Joe’s
- 3:00pm: Departure

The NE Encuentro is an entirely volunteer produced event. All those attending the NE Encuentro are asked to contribute financially. The only money going to produce this event is coming from registration fees. Please consider this when deciding how much to give. You are highly encouraged to pay your registration in advance.
