FTS is an organization committed to ending sexual violence on college campuses, particularly at UF, by empowering the Gainesville community to be proactive bystanders against sexual assault. By becoming an ambassador, you'll become a representative of our cause, joining us in the fight against sexual violence.
As an ambassador, your role will involve various tasks to spread awareness. You may share our message through your online communication groups or during your chapter meetings. Additionally, you might distribute flyers or stickers to your friends and organizations to help raise awareness about our cause. Ambassadors are also expected to actively participate in FTS Events and fundraisers to contribute to creating a safer campus environment.
An FTS Ambassador…
- Attends meetings monthly/bi-monthly to the best of their ability.
- Stays updated on GroupMe messages and responds to sent forms/polls/sheets
- Attends FTS events unless the ambassador has a valid excuse.
- Completes their tabling requirement when need be.
If you're passionate about combating sexual assault, we encourage you to apply to our rolling ambassador program. Once you submit your application, we will review it and notify you via email when you are accepted. You'll also be added to our GroupMe chat to connect with other ambassadors and stay updated on our activities. If you have any questions or need further information, please don't hesitate to contact us at flippingthesystemtoday@gmail.com.
