This fund began in March with the purpose of delivering groceries and prescriptions to quarantined community members. However, to better respond to how the pandemic has affected Oregon, we have decided to shift to a general mutual aid fund. Funds that were donated for groceries are now available for general mutual aid.

This fund is specifically for community members whose needs cannot be met by the college's emergency funding options. Considering the “tax implications” of institutional dollars being redistributed through either Senate or the Financial Aid office, we are hoping to fill any gaps that prevent Reed students, alumni, staff, and faculty from being able to have their needs met.

Given that a lot has changed since March, we'd like anyone who contributed to the grocery fund to fill out this new form. When requesting aid, please do your best to request exact amounts!
