Women’s Aikido Camp 2026 - RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

I, the undersigned participant, agree that I am voluntarily participating in the Aiki Access Women’s Aikido Camp 2026, event to be held at the Miracle Springs Resort and Spa in Desert Hot Springs CA, USA, all of which are hereinafter referred to as the “activity”. 

I consent to my participation in the activity and acknowledge that I fully understand that my participation may involve the risk of serious injury or death, including losses which may result not only from my own actions, inactions or negligence, but also from the actions, inactions, or negligence of others, the condition of the facilities, equipment, or areas where the event or activity is being conducted, and/or the rules of play of this type of event or activity.  I understand that if I have any risk concerns, I should discuss the risks associated my participation in the activity with the coordinators and event staff, before I sign this document and before the activity begins.

I hereby certify that I am in good health and have no physical condition that would prevent my participation in this activity. Furthermore, I agree to use my personal medical insurance as a primary medical coverage payment if accident or injury occurs.  I consent to emergency medical treatment in the event such care is required.

PHOTO RELEASE: I acknowledge and agree that photographs, pictures, slides, movies, video, or other media coverage of me may be taken in connection with my participation in the activity without compensation from Aiki Access, Miracle Springs Resort and Spa, their auxiliary organizations, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents and consent to the use of photographs, pictures, slides, movies, videos, or other media coverage for any legal purpose.

In consideration of my participation in the activity, I hereby agree to waive all claims or causes of action against Aiki Access, Aiki Access Women’s Aikido Camp 2026 and the Miracle Springs Resort and Spa, their auxiliary organizations, and their officers, directors, employees and agents, arising out of my participation in the activity and I hereby release and hold harmless Aiki Access, Aiki Access Women’s Aikido Camp 2026 and the  Miracle Springs Resort and Spa , their auxiliary organizations, and their officers, directors, employees and agents, from all liability in connection therewith except such loss or damage which may be caused by the sole negligence or willful misconduct of Aiki Access, Aiki Access Women’s Aikido Camp 2026 and the  Miracle Springs Resort and Spa , their auxiliary organizations, and their officers, directors, employees and agents.  I hereby am forever releasing and agreeing not to sue Aiki Access and/or the  Miracle Springs Resort and Spa relating to any and all claims arising as a result of my participation in user activities and/or my presence on the  Miracle Springs Resort and Spa property.

I have read this release and hold harmless agreement and understand the terms used in it and their legal significance.  This waiver and release is freely and voluntarily given and I understand that by signing this agreement I voluntarily give up my right to legal recourse against Aiki Access, Aiki Access Women’s Aikido Camp 2026 and the  Miracle Springs Resort and Spa,  their auxiliary organizations, and their officers, directors, employees and agents, in return for allowing my participation in the activity.  My signature on this document is intended to bind not only myself but also my successors, heirs, representatives, administrators, and assigns.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have set my hand and seal to this document which I intend to be a legally binding document, on the day and year below written, and understand it fully.
