The graphic design contest now has only one category: the logo! Anyone is eligible to make a submission. There are no submission fees. Submissions are open through 11:59 PM Central Standard Time, October 26th.

Design a unique logo for the UU Young Adults for Climate Justice. UUYACJ is a consensus-based network of climate justice activists ages 18-35 y.o., from across North America, united by Unitarian Universalist values, community, and commitment to the struggle for a socially just, resilient and sustainable future.

Awards:
UUYACJ Chosen Logo: $250
Peoples' Choice -- 1st Place: $50
Peoples' Choice -- 2nd Place: $25

The UU Young Adults for Climate Justice is a consensus-based organization with a core leadership team*. The core leadership team will decide on the new logo for the UUYACJ by consensus. The People's Choice prizes will be awarded based upon web-based open voting (see below for details). It is possible for someone to win both a Peoples' Choice prize and the $150 for the logo officially adopted by the UUYACJ network collective.

Considerations & Requirements:
-- You can submit an unlimited number of logo designs
-- You must give the UUYACJ ongoing permission to use and remix your submission, for commercial and noncommercial purposes. --- Should we produce products (buttons, bandanas, etc.) using your design, you are entitled to receive one of the items at no expense to you.
-- Artist attribution for the logo design will be given on the "About" page of the UUYACJ website, and in all incidences of marketing products that use the design (unless requested otherwise).
-- You cannot include your signature on this design
-- Digitally and non-digitally created designs are welcomed alike. Vector file optional. Preferred file format: 8.5 x11" image, 300 PPI (pixels per inch) or greater (600+ PPI preferred -- 1200 max). Submissions can be submitted in .TIFF (preferred), .PNG (preferred) or .JPEG.
-- Designs should either include the text “UU Young Adults for Climate Justice” or have no text
-- Elements or themes to consider pulling from: the chalice (symbol of Unitarian Universalism), community, creative non-violent direct action, nature / wilderness / ecology, climate justice, anti-racism/anti-oppression, sustainability, resistance, resilience, four natural elements

Voting Parameters:
Voting will be web-based and will occur over 9 days (Oct 29 - Nov 6). You are encouraged to invite your networks and friends to participate. Only living, breathing humans can vote (no pets, no ghosts, no alias fake people, no computer or robot votes). Paying and bartering for votes is not allowed. Breaking these rules will result in disqualification for receiving prize money, upon discovery. Voting is open to the public; each person has one vote.

It is possible for someone to win both a Peoples' Choice prize and the $150 for the logo officially adopted by the UUYACJ network collective.

In addition to sending this form, email the file of your design to UUYACJ@gmail.com, or upload the file to a cloud storage platform (ex: Google, Dropbox, Box) and share the file with UUYACJ@gmail.com
