Every year, Kristin students are faced with big decisions about their future. For many, the options can seem staggering and the best path forward can be hard to find. As with all of life's big decisions, the more information that is available, the better equipped we are to make the right choices.

You can help by sharing you own personal experience.

We've identified five ways that Kristin Alumni can get involved and make a difference, no matter your location, experience or particular areas of interest. Because everyone's situation is different, we encourage you to get involved in whatever capacity seems right for you.

Option 1: Become a University Contact
Share your experience of tertiary institutions with students who are considering a similar path. You may be studying or have graduated, and you can be based anywhere in the world for this one.


Option 2: Become a Destination Contact
Be a local contact for Kristin families who are looking at tertiary options in your town. You don't need to have attended the local uni - simply help out with local know-how and be a friendly face in the neighbourhood.


Option 3: Become an Industry Contact
Share your expertise by becoming an Industry Contact for Kristin students and Alumni who are interested in learning more about what you do and how you work. Location is no barrier for this one - wherever you are in the world, we'd love to have you involved.


Option 4: Become an Alumni Speaker
Share where life has taken you and what you've learned along the way. Obviously this one is easiest if you're based in Auckland. However, if you know you have a trip coming up, get in touch and let's see what we can do.


Option 5: Get involved with the Curriculum
Bring your professional expertise to the classroom and share real-world insight to support student learning. Visiting the classrooms is one option, or call in via Skype if you're based further afield.
