WHILE THIS RESEARCH IS BEING CONDUCTED FOR THE KUBEFLOW COMMUNITY, SOME OF THE LANGUAGE BELOW REFERS TO RESEARCH FOR OUR DOWNSTREAM PRODUCTS. THE RED HAT LEGAL TEAM REQUIRES US TO DISPLAY OUR DATA HANDLING AND TERMS OF USE EVERY TIME WE GATHER FEEDBACK TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW THEM. HERE'S THE FINE PRINT.

Privacy policy

The Kubeflow Model Registry and ML experience working group is partnering with UX researchers at Red Hat to conduct user research. Any information you provide, such as your name and email, will be used by Red Hat and affiliated organizations to facilitate your participation in this research study and to conduct associated research and analysis. Your personal data will only be shared within Red Hat and affiliated organizations to those individuals directly involved with these projects and possessing a legitimate need for such data. Your personal data will not be shared with anyone else except for the third party service providers who help us administer this survey. You can be removed from our list at any time by emailing uxdresearch@redhat.com. For more information on how Red Hat handles your personal data, see Red Hat’s Privacy Statement.

Informed Consent

Your participation in this research is voluntary. Your responses, including audio or video clips, will only be shared internally within Red Hat. Your name and any other personal identifying information will not be attributed to your responses. Your responses will be used solely for the purpose of improving Red Hat products. You have the right to withdraw at any point during the study.  

Confidentiality Obligations 

Through your participation in this study, you may learn Confidential Information about Red Hat products, concepts and ideas that are not yet available to the public. You agree not to disclose any Confidential Information to any third party. 

“Confidential Information” is information that: (a) is marked as “confidential” or with a similar marking, (b) is clearly identified as confidential at the time of disclosure, if disclosed orally, or (c) is of a nature that you know or should reasonably be expected to know is confidential. 

Information is not Confidential Information and you are not required to protect it if: (a) the information is or becomes publicly available other than as a result of your breach of these Terms and Conditions, (b) at the time of disclosure, you know or possess the information without obligation of confidentiality, (c) you independently develop the information without use of the Confidential Information, (d) the information is generally known or easily developed by someone with ordinary skills in the business of Red Hat, or (e) the information is licensed under an Open Source License (as defined by the Open Source Initiative (www.opensource.org)).

Your participation is voluntary. By applying to participate in a study, you agree to the following: You are 18 years of age, you are aware that you may choose to terminate your participation at any time for any reason, and you understand the statements above.

Our research requires a high level of rigor to ensure that the data are dependable. If Red Hat in its sole discretion determines that any you have misrepresented your background and qualifications or have attempted to participate in a single study more than once, either under the same or fabricated identities, we will remove your response(s) from the study data to avoid polluting it. If your response(s) are not admissible to our study due to the reason(s) stated above, you will not receive compensation.
