3. CANCELLATION POLICY
Travel expenses are not included (i.e. train or airline tickets, rental car).
3.1. Refundable tarif:
If
guest cancels more than 60 days before the event, all paid funds will be
returned except the non-refundable CHF 250 deposit. Cancellation 30 to 60
days in advance, 50% refund of amount paid (aside from CHF 250 non-refundable deposit). For guest cancellations within 30 days of the
event, no refunds are possible. If entire event must be cancelled, for
example due to natural disaster, all fees and deposits paid by the
participants will be refunded. Event organizers reserve the option to
continue with alternate teacher in the unlikely event that the
scheduled teachers are unable to attend due to illness or other
emergency.
If
the guest, who is unable to attend the retreat finds another person
to take his place, the transfer of participation and costs to another
person may be considered, depending on the case, and only in
consultation & with the consent of the Retreat Providers.
3. 2 Cancellation due to force majeure:
The
Retreat Providers have the right to cancel the retreat, even at short
notice, due to events of force majeure (such as natural disasters,
earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, avalanches, thunderstorms, storms,
wars, riots, civil wars, revolutions and uprisings, terrorism, sabotage,
strikes, nuclear accidents or reactor damage, epidemics, pandemics,
etc.). In this case, the costs already paid will be refunded to the
customer within 30 days. A further claim for a refund does not exist.
The
Retreat Providers are not responsible for the customer's expenses
incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as other
accommodation, airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs
associated with preparing for your trip.
4. INSURANCE
Insurance
is the responsibility of the customer. The following Insurances with
sufficient coverage are strongly recommended: health and accident
insurance and travel insurance (including coverage of cancellation costs
and travel incidents).
5. PASSPORTS, VISAS, AND DOCUMENTS
It
is the responsibility of the customer to obtain a valid passport,
visa(s), and necessary certificates for any country to be visited in
connection with the retreat.
6. THIRD PARTIES
The
customer is aware that in cases in which the Retreat Providers only
acts as an agent, he/she enters into a contract with a third party and
that the third party's own contract regulations apply.
The Retreat
Providers hold no responsibility nor liability for the actions or
omissions of third parties or independent contractors, including in the
event that they modify the nature of a service on a retreat as compared
with the advertised nature of the service.
7. GENERAL WAIVER
The
customer acknowledges that during a retreat, she/he participates
voluntarily in any and all activities arranged by the Retreat Providers
and, insofar as legally permissible, surrender his/her right to any
cause of action against Retreat providers arising from any loss or
damage to person or property that occurs during a retreat.
By
accepting these Terms and Conditions, the customer confirms that he/she
is in good health to participate in the booked retreat and to follow the
course program according to the description. The customer is requested
to inform the Retreat Providers about any health problems, allergies, or
pregnancy. The customer takes part in the offer and retreat on his/her
own responsibility and risk.
