Dr. Detwiler will be speaking about what official identification means and why sheep producers should sign up, what some differences are between USDA slaughter plants versus custom cut processing facilities, and what are some important reportable diseases sheep producers should be aware of.

Tammy White believes fiber farming offers a variety of marketing opportunities and a range of levels of involvement.  She will share about the many products that her fiber farm offers and how she reaches consumer audiences, in addition to offering solutions to targeting and specializing for particular audiences that are relevant to your skills and region.  Topics will include, but not be limited to, use of social media, consideration of time and skills, and prioritizing your interests and abilities.
