Event organized by the Centre for International Cooperation and Development Studies (Faculty of Political Science, University of Bucharest), jointly with the European Commission and the United Nations Development Programme.

Named for the Polish reporter and writer Ryszard Kapuscinski, the Kapuscinski Development Lectures (KDL) are high-level level meetings that contribute to the debate and formulation of the European development policy.

Included in the calendar of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, this edition is dedicated to late Romanian diplomat Mihnea CONSTANTINESCU and marks the 10-year anniversary since the first Romanian KDL lecture (2009, H.R.H. Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, UNDP Goodwill Ambassador).
