Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor for the Three Rivers Fibershed Marketplace at Salem Glen Winery! It will be a day of local fibers, labor, dyes, and wine. The Three Rivers Fibershed (TRF) is excited to showcase fiber producers and artist-makers within TRF’s strategic geography. For a illustration of this geography, please view the map at the end of this application, showing the 175 mile radius the Three Rivers Fibershed encompasses. Anything grown, manufactured, processed, or created within the radius is eligible to be a product of the Fibershed. Salem Glen Winery is located in a beautiful country setting and includes a large tasting room, indoor bathrooms, and a food truck. Outdoor booths cost $35 and are approximately 10 x 10 in size. Unfortunately, electricity will not available. Please note that the Three Rivers Fibershed Marketplace at Salem Glen Winery is a juried show, meaning all completed applications will be reviewed by the Three Rivers Fibershed Board of Directors for approval.

Product guidelines
Eligible producers and artist-makers must adhere to the Fibershed ethos of local fiber, labor, and dyes. Natural dyes should be locally gathered/ grown/purchased or come from food waste. If you use natural dyes from concentrate, please include the name brand and dye stuff in the application. All labor or processing of fiber must be done at mills within the strategic geography, unless there are special circumstances. All fiber must be from your farm only or within the strategic geography, with the exception of sock yarn blends that may include tencel, bamboo, nylon etc. Sorry, no exotic blends unless you raised the exotic animal on your farm. Everything from skirted fleeces, to roving and yarn, pelts, and finished products are welcome at this marketplace. If you are bringing finished goods, they should be made by you or from labor within the radius. If you have any questions about exceptions, please feel free to contact the Three Rivers Fibershed for clarification.
