This form is to assist us in selecting the most suitable cat/kitten for you. Please complete the form in full and include any other information which you feel may be relevant.

Adoption donation is £150 minimum per cat. If you can spare more, we would greatly appreciate it.Purrs need funds to continue our work in taking in and helping abandoned and stray cats. We have tried to keep our donation fee as low as we possibly can, but with the rising cost of living, we have sadly had to increase the cost just to cover all the following. All of our cats are neutered, vaccinated, health checked, flea and worm treated and microchipped. Once adopted microchip details will be transferred to adoptee by us. if you require a name change please let us know.

Once approved to adopt the fee is required to reserve the Cat/s to the following bank details. (Please use the Cat/s name as reference on transfer)

Our Policy
Purrs Cat Rescue operates entirely based on volunteers with no paid staff. As a charity, we have a duty of care for the health, safety and well-being of our members and volunteers. Their mental health is as important as their physical well-being and we strictly enforce our zero tolerance policy:

Our volunteers expect to be treated in an acceptable, respectful manner. Any incident in which a volunteer is abused, threatened, or assaulted whilst assisting Purrs Cat Rescue is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. This includes any incident of verbal abuse, aggressive tone and/or language and swearing/foul language, regardless of in person, on the telephone or via social media. Our volunteers should not be left upset and distressed following an interaction with a member of the public. All instances of actual physical abuse or threatening behaviour towards any of our members or volunteers will be reported to the police.

The following policies are in place and will be adhered to when rehoming the cats in our care:

1. Kittens are rehomed in bonded pairs
2. Cats are always neutered, vaccinated, flea’d, wormed, chipped and health checked before being rehomed.
3. A video tour will be required of your home, in place of a home visit.
4. An adoption fee is payable to reserve the cat(s), which is £150 per cat.
