Fill this out if you would like to host a workshop or event of some sort at either location of Awakening, or if you would like to do a pop-up (Fort Collins only for now). This form can also be filled out if there is an event or market hosted elsewhere that you would like us to participate in. We will respond within 7-10 days to confirm or to ask for more details.
Please be aware that we are a very small team, and need at least 5 weeks before proposed date in order to organize and do marketing for any kind of event.
Our calendar does fill up fairly quickly, so the further in advance the better.
Some helpful info for you:
- Awakening doesn't take any kind of percentage or cut from workshops unless there are extra expenses from our end - any money from ticket sales goes directly to the facilitator. You can set ticket price at whatever you like, but I prefer to make things accessible and keep tickets under $25/person.
- For most workshops, weekday evenings are best. The earliest we start is 6pm, just so we don't have to close down the shop super early.
- Max workshop capacity for Awakening locations is 12 in Denver and 18 in Fort Collins.
- We create the event graphics and set up the ticketing page (through Eventbrite), but full workshop/event description comes from you and needs to be included on this form.
- The description is really important! Doesn't need to be more than a paragraph or two, but this is how you get people informed and interested in the workshop, so please put a little effort into it.
- We do have a projector you can use for slides if needed, but we only have a screen in Fort Collins, so you would need to provide your own in Denver.
- I post events on our Instagram and usually send out an email, but you are also responsible for marketing your own event or workshop. If there are even 2 people signed up, the workshop will go on as scheduled. I won't cancel or postpone unless there are serious extenuating circumstances.
I am open to all kinds of workshops/events/bookclubs, so don't be afraid to fill this out a few times with different ideas!
