Whenever you provide such information, we are legally obliged to use your information in line with all laws concerning the protection of personal information, including the Data Protection Act 1998. We will only use your information where appropriate for the management of the festival and to enable you to volunteer safely.

To volunteer for OUT West Festival you must be over 18 years of age & you must have the right to volunteer in the UK, which generally means you must have the right to work in the UK. If you are in any doubt about whether you can volunteer, you should contact the UK Border Agency.

Depending upon role, you may need to bring proof of ID and address to the event – a UK driving licence or similar is sufficient. You will be informed before the festival if this is the case

If on build/break you will have to wear appropriate safety equipment - provision of your own steel toecap boots/shoes is mandatory. The festival will provide high vis apparel for all volunteers as necessary and you will need to provide your own wet weather gear.

In return for your working hours, you will be provided with a ticket to the event and a meal per shift

If successful, you will be required to send in a deposit of £85 which will be redeemed upon completion of all shifts. If you have worked with us regularly before, then there may be no need for a deposit - please contact info@outwestfestival.co.uk
