U7/8s pre academy - this once a week training session will give girls the opportunity to access our facilities and our staff to develop fundamental movement skills, ball mastery and 1st touch.
U9-U14s Emerging Talent Centre - this centre provides a holistic approach to player development. Players will train weekly including a strength and conditioning session, pitch session and opportunities to access our medical and psychology support. We also have a second evening where we run more ad-hoc support sessions including online delivery, gym sessions, fixtures and small group training sessions.
U9-U14s 3v3 Series - weekly sessions focused on giving players as much time on the ball as possible. Girls will get to attend sessions with our coaches and take part in ball mastery activities followed by lots of 3v3 games where they will be given lots of opportunities to get on the ball. Our Academy (Emerging Talent Centre) players will be in attendance so players will be able to pitch themselves against high level players whilst having the opportunity to work with academy staff on a regular basis.
U16s/U18s - both teams play on a weekly basis in the JPL. The U16s play in the mixed league with the JPL Warriors (girls) cup and girls county cup. The U18s will play in the U18 JPL Warriors league, cup and the county cup.
What are we looking for?
We understand that players come in all different varieties with a mixture of strengths and weaknesses. We take into account a player's technical, tactical, physical, psychological and social attributes, as well as looking at relative age effect and maturation rates. We also have to compare with our current player cohort in the Academy to assess whether a target player has the potential to be better than the players we already have registered.
