Skills Matter Press Pass Registration
Skills Matter gives out Press Passes to both in-house and freelance editors, journalists, bloggers and influencers. We encourage those who have a genuine passion for tech and love to share great stories with tech communities and industries to apply.
Who can apply for a Press Pass?
A Press Pass is available for individuals media professionals who are either employed in a recognised media organisation (e.g. tv, radio stations, newspapers, magazines, online media organisation or any other forms of news coverage) or bloggers and influencers who regularly post insightful blogs in the related areas to the conference topics and can reach out to our target audiences.
What can I do with the Press Pass?
A Press Pass is a complimentary admission to your chosen conference organised by Skills Matter Limited. With the Press Pass, you will be given access to all conferences area, including:

- Keynote Addresses
- Talks / Workshops Sessions
- Parties
- Event Meals

What documents should I provide?
In order to consider your application, we ask you to:

- Complete the 'Press Pass Request Form';
- Provide links to 1 or more article/blog post written by you and is published within the last 6 months.

Where can I pick up my Press Pass badge?
Your Press Pass badge will be available for collection at the main registration desk at the conference.
Publish Criteria:
We trust that you have written the article/blog post in a professional manner. After you have published, we would appreciate if you could share the article/blog post link with us so that we can also share with our communities, we will also feature the article/blog post in our monthly community newsletter.

Press Pass Discontinuation:

Individuals who attend Skills Matter's conference with a press pass, but attempt to promote and market their own products or services to conference attendees or exhibitors, will be asked to surrender their press pass badge and leave the conference. They will also be barred from attending any Skills Matter Conference as press.

Photographs and Audio/Video recording:

If you would like to take photographs or conduct audio/video recording interview, please mark your request in the 'Press Pass Request Form' checkbox. Photography and audio/video recordings for personal archival use is acceptable unless an individual makes it clear that they do not wish to be photographed or recorded. Where allowed, please take photographs before or after a talk session to avoid distracting speakers and audience members.

You are welcome to use the conference photographs in which we post on our Flickr account in real time (skillsmatter.com/about-us#photos). We would appreciate if you could add a photo credit line on each photograph used on your article/blog post, for example 'Photo by Skills Matter Limited', 'Image courtesy of SKills Matter Limited' etc.
