As noted through the registration process, you have agreed to abide by the Alamogordo Public Schools Acceptable Use Policy. All aspects of the APS Acceptable Use Policy must be followed. SCHOOL ISSUED DEVICE STUDENT PICKUP: I am providing permission for my child to be issued a school owned device at school. An email receipt will be sent to the parent/guardian email on file indicating the serial number of the device issued. A copy will be maintained in the APS Student Information System. I understand the device must be returned at end of year or when my child leaves the district.

BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE (BYOD): For middle and high school students: I will be providing a personal device for my son/daughter to bring to and from school. I understand that the district will not be responsible for damages, loss, or theft. I understand that the district will enforce security filters while the device is on campus and utilizing APS WiFi. Troubleshooting will be limited to connectivity issues.

SCHOOL MANAGED DEVICE: I acknowledge that my son/ daughter will be provided a device that will be checked-out and checked-in daily. The device will not leave the campus. I am accepting the responsibility for providing technology at home to support my child’s schoolwork.
