MySTEM Academy 2019 Summer Camp Policies, Terms, and Conditions
ARRIVAL and DISMISSAL: Sessions will run from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please drop off your child between 8:45 and 9 a.m. and pick up no later than 3:05 p.m. We will receive and bring the child to the drop off and pick up area to facilitate arrival and dismissal. An adult will be asked to sign the child in and out. We will only release the child to the authorized adult(s) listed on the Personal Information Form.If your child will be absent, late, or need to be picked up earlier, please call/text (412) 513-6155 so we can make proper arrangements for the day. If you are enable to pick up your child by 3:05 p.m., call/text (412) 513-6155 to explain the reason and the pickup time. A late charge fee of $10 per every 15 minutes may be applied for repeated lateness.
Brown bag lunch and a drink marked with your child’s name. When preparing the lunch, keep in mind that refrigeration or microwave will not be available at camp. Lunch box is OK. Wear clothes and shoes that will allow your child to participate in the recreational activities.
Any electronic device (iPods, cell phones, tablets, etc.), trading cards, toys, skateboards or anything else that could distract the group’s attention. Personal Lego pieces, motors, sensors, etc. Personal valuables such as jewelry, watches, money, etc. We will not be responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings.
If our child is injured or becomes ill while at camp we will call the emergency contacts listed on your Personal Information Form. If we cannot reach any of the contacts and if we believe that the condition is an emergency, we will contact the authorities to provide removal to a hospital.
In order for us to provide the best possible environment for all campers, it is fundamental that we be notified in advance of any medical condition your child may have (insulin dependency, cardiac illness, asthma, seizures, autism, allergies, ADD, etc.). We reserve the right to cancel participation in the summer camp, with no refund of the registration fee or camp payment, of any child whose medical condition is not fully disclosed to us at the time of registration.
Full payment of the camp fee, including the non-refundable $30 registration fee, must be received by the date indicated in the registration confirmation email. Payments can be made by check to GreenE Solution and mailed to 1603 Country Club Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15237, or via the PayPal link indicated in the same email.
If payment is not received by date indicated in the confirmation email, we reserve the right to cancel the registration to accommodate other children.
Cancellation: The minimum class size is 10 children. If we need to cancel a session due to low enrollment, we will refund you in full for the camp fee and the registration fee. In the past eight years, we have NEVER canceled a summer camp session.
Refunds: If you cancel registration at least two weeks before the session starts, we will refund you for the camp fee but not the registration fee ($30).If you cancel registration within two weeks but no later than 48 hours before the session begins, and another paid registrant takes your place, we will refund you for the camp fee but not the registration fee ($30). If a paid registrant cannot be found, there will be no refund of the camp fee or the registration fee. Cancellations within 48 hours prior to the beginning of the session will not be refunded.
Transfers: Transfers to a different session will be accepted at any time as long as there are open spaces on the session you want to transfer to.
PHOTOS & VIDEOSBy enrolling your child in the MySTEM Academy summer camp program, you agree to let us use pictures and videos taken during the program, in which your child appears, for educational or promotional activities and materials.
