Have you ever dreamt of turning a hobby into income, working for yourself or building something that makes a difference?
Whether you’re a student, parent, retiree or simply taking a breather from employment, the Go Succeed Activate Enterprise programme is here to help.
Over the next six weeks we’re delivering 30 free workshops across six councils to help early‑stage entrepreneurs and curious individuals explore self‑employment.
Each session is practical, jargon‑free and led by experienced facilitator Tina Calder of Excalibur Press who understands the challenges faced by early‑stage entrepreneurs.
Who Should Attend?
These sessions are predominantly aimed at those who are economically inactive:
- People with an idea for a business who don’t know where to start
- Students, parents, carers or retirees looking for flexible ways to earn
- Individuals taking time out of employment who want to explore self‑employment options
- Anyone curious about entrepreneurship who wants to build confidence and skills
And from the following Council areas:
- Newry, Mourne & Down District Council
- Ards & North Down Borough Council
- Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council
- Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon Council
- Fermanagh & Omagh District Council
- Mid Ulster District Council
However, that doesn't mean you can't attend - you are still welcome to join us. Even if you don’t intend to start a business immediately, come along to learn together.
Your entrepreneurial journey could begin today. Explore the session titles below, pick the ones that inspire you and book your place.
