Tu Bishvat is the New Year of the Trees. In Israel, it is customary to go out and hike in the forest and enjoy the new growth on the trees. We're not quite there yet in Massachusetts, but we will still enjoy the holiday with a hike and a walking seder! We will pay close attention to the beauty of nature and watch for signs of Spring.
Join us to wake up the trees on Sunday, February 5 at 9:00 a.m. We will walk the Forest River Conservation Area Trail behind the South Campus of Salem State. Take Harrison Rd off of Loring Avenue in Salem. Park at the back of the parking lot and we will meet at the trail head. It is an easy hike, dogs are welcome, water bottles and boots recommended. Everyone is welcome!
