About the School Secretary Professional Development Academy
School secretaries serve a critical role in the successful operation of all schools within the District, as they support school climate, parent, student and community relationships. In addition, they are tasked with a wide variety of administrative and clerical tasks to include record keeping, student enrollment and procurement. Based on feedback collected from secretaries and school leaders, the Office of Human Capital will hold the School Secretary Professional Development Academy for secretaries to explore how best to use City Schools’ administrative systems for their jobs.
